“You have witchcraft in your lips.” -William Shakespeare
About Pretty Charmed Life
This is one of my favorite quotes of all time. Allow me to introduce myself; my name is Ravenna. I consider myself an eclectic witch, in the sense that I combine different modalities into my practice but it wasn’t always that way. When I first called myself a witch, I didn’t have this earth-shattering experience where all the stars aligned. It was more of this determined rumble that started within me and wasn’t satisfied until I learned more and more. I read everything I could get my hands on and in doing so, got a better idea of what I naturally gravitated towards. I started a very traditional witch, with proper circle casting and altar setup. I have since evolved to a practice that works for me and incorporates the tools that I love. While I’m not morally opposed to being involved in religion, I haven’t found one that I believe in whole-heartedly so I created my own lane and you can, too! Through my craft, I have strengthened my intuition, which I can rely on for all things.
Through witchcraft, I have found ways to focus my intentions, visualize what I want, and nourish my soul, all while using fun tools and rituals. Candles, crystals, tarot cards, oh my! And what’s more, you don’t even need witchy tools in your craft (but if you’re extra like me, we talk about those here). All you need is an open mind and I share tips and tricks I use to make sure I’m in the right mindset. You CAN manifest what you want. Being a witch isn’t about “supernatural powers”; it’s about changing your perspective to notice the magick already present in your life and manipulating energy to bring about what you want. It’s about empowering yourself to give fear and doubt the boot! If that sounds like your jam, check out my witchy topics list and pick one or two items that call to you and start there.

And like Glinda said, “You’ve always had the power, my dear. You just had to learn it for yourself”.
If you use the elements in your work like I do, you’ll want to have something on your altar or in your ritual that corresponds
I LOVE fall and Halloween but my absolute favorite time of the year is Yule/Christmas. My family celebrates Christmas and it has always been a
